Most stray puppies don’t die from illness or accidents—they die from hunger 🍞🥛.
They’re too young to find food, too fragile to digest scraps, and too unnoticed for anyone to care 💔. Within weeks of birth, they’re gone.

That’s why we couldn’t sit back and watch.

With 30 packets of milk 🥛 and 30 packets of bread 🍞, our team of nine volunteers 🫂 walked across 4-5 km 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ of Ambala Cantt—Lal Mandir, Raja Park, Ekta Vihar, Sadr, and more—feeding as many as we could find 🐶❤️.

It started as an idea from one volunteer 🌱. A simple thought: What if we gave them real food? What if we gave them a chance?
Now, it’s something bigger. We’re making this a habit—once a month, maybe more.

But we can’t do it alone.

Near Mahesh Nagar, Ambala, where DOC teaches children, a fire destroyed the tent home of a family of six—a couple and their four children (ages 8, 10, 12, and 14).💥 They lost everything: clothes, quilts, utensils, food, and even their means of income. 💔

Seeing their despair, we coudn't stand still. We reached out to our volunteers and donors for help.🆘️ The response we got in return was incredible.🥰 Thanks to your generosity, we provided them with a new tent, clothing, quilts, food, and essentials. The tent was renamed to Ashiyana-Beautiful dwelling place. 🏡

This was only possible because of your support.🫂 Together, we turned their loss into hope. Thank you for making a difference!🫡

Only thing left is to give back their means of livelihood.💪 For that we need to buy a rickshaw cart. 🚲 Your donations however small will go towards this cause.

महेश नगर, अंबाला के पास, जहां डीओसी बच्चों को पढ़ाते हैं, एक परिवार की झोपड़ी में आग लग गई। 💥 इस परिवार में पति-पत्नी और उनके चार बच्चे (8, 10, 12 और 14 साल के) थे। इस हादसे में उनका सबकुछ जलकर राख हो गया—कपड़े, रजाइयाँ, बर्तन, खाना, यहाँ तक कि उनकी रोज़ी-रोटी का साधन भी। 💔

उनकी हालत देखकर हम चुप नहीं रह सके। हमने अपने वॉलंटियर्स और डोनर्स से मदद की गुहार लगाई।🆘️ और जो प्यार और समर्थन हमें मिला, वो दिल छू लेने वाला था। 🥰 आपकी उदारता की बदौलत, हमने उन्हें एक नया टेंट, कपड़े, रजाइयाँ, खाना और ज़रूरी सामान दिया। अब इस टेंट का नाम "आशियाना – सुंदर निवास" रख दिया गया है। 🏡

ये सब सिर्फ आपकी मदद से संभव हो पाया। 🫂 आपने उनके दुख को उम्मीद में बदल दिया। दिल से शुक्रिया! 🫡

अब सिर्फ एक चीज़ बाकी है—उनकी रोज़ी-रोटी वापस लाना। 💪 इसके लिए हमें एक रिक्शा-ठेला खरीदना होगा। 🚲 आपकी छोटी-सी मदद भी इस परिवार के लिए बहुत बड़ी हो सकती है।

🇮🇳Celebrating the 76th Republic day in Top khana Basti , Ambala cantt.

😊The year may pass, but our goal remains the same to foster unity, spread joy and encourage giving within our community.💪

Around 70 children participated in cultural performances, including dance,yoga and plays.To add sweetness, we distributed round shaped laddoos and biscuits.

🥳The celebration was filled with fun games, prizes, giveaways and a tree plantation drive.

🇮🇳 हमने पचहत्तरवां गणतंत्र दिवस टॉप खाना बस्ती, अंबाला कैंट में मनाया।

😊 साल तो हर साल चला जाता है, लेकिन लक्ष्य हमेशा एक ही रहता है—एकता को बढ़ावा देना, खुशी बाँटना और हमारी समुदाय में देने की भावना को मजबूत करना। 💪

लगभग 70 बच्चों ने सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों में भाग लिया, जिनमें नृत्य, योग और नाटक शामिल थे। मिठास बढ़ाने के लिए, हमने गोल आकार के लड्डू और बिस्किट बाँटे।

🥳 इस उत्सव में मस्ती से भरे खेल, पुरस्कार, उपहार वितरण और वृक्षारोपण अभियान भी शामिल था, जहाँ बच्चों और स्वयंसेवकों ने मिलकर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया।

👦👧 "हम सभी स्वयंसेवकों के आभारी हैं, जिन्होंने अपना समय और प्रयास समर्पित करके हमारे बच्चों के लिए एक यादगार अनुभव बनाया।

हमारे स्वयंसेवकों ने बच्चों के साथ समय बिताया और उनके साथ एक शानदार अनुभव साझा किया। इस दौरान हमने लड्डू, बिस्कुट और रिफ्रेशमेंट्स बांटे, जिससे सभी के चेहरे पर मुस्कान आ गई। 🍹

Our constitution, our guiding light🫰🏻🇮🇳

Republic Day was celebrated in collaboration with another NGO called Insaniyat Foundation at Topkhana Basti, Ambala cantt. We invited chief guest Mr. Pankaj for our event and we honoured him with a plant as a token of love. There was 70+ children who performed dances, skit, sang songs, and played games. Volunteers also participated in the games, and the winners received gifts. At the end, all the children were given ladoos, samosas, chocolates, biscuits, and stationery items so that they could study and become like Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
We wrapped up the event by planting a tree, which symbolized that everyone should live together with love and unity and work towards making India beautiful and clean.

ड्रॉप्स ऑफ चेंज ने गणतंत्र दिवस का खास कार्यक्रम इंसानियत फाउंडेशन के साथ मिलकर तोपखाना बस्ती, अंबाला कैंट में मनाया। हमने हमारे मुख्य अतिथि श्री पंकज जी को आमंत्रित किया और उन्हें प्रेम का प्रतीक, एक पौधा भेंट किया। इस कार्यक्रम में 70 से ज्यादा बच्चों ने नृत्य, नाटक, गीत और खेलों का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। हमारे स्वयंसेवक भी खेलों में शामिल हुए, और जो विजेता बने, उन्हें छोटे-छोटे प्यारे उपहार मिले।
आखिर में, सभी बच्चों को लड्डू, समोसे, चॉकलेट, बिस्किट और स्टेशनरी दी गई, ताकि वे पढ़ाई में और भी बेहतर करें और डॉ. बी.आर. आंबेडकर जैसा महान बन सकें।
हमने इस कार्यक्रम का समापन एक पेड़ लगाकर किया, जो ये संदेश देता है कि हमें सबको प्यार और एकता के साथ साथ रहना चाहिए और भारत को सुंदर और स्वच्छ बनाने में अपना हिस्सा निभाना चाहिए।

Over the last two months, with over 120 blankets distributed to the homeless in Ambala, Drops of Change is proud to have been featured in Dainik Bhaskar, Dainik Jagran, and Amar Ujala for bringing warmth to those who needed it most through our blanket donation drive and blanket donation drive 2.0. No grand celebration, no grand stage, no crowd. Just two volunteers and a bunch of kids having their joyful time together🥳

Our volunteers named Harshita and Jahnvi and some of their friends celebrated lohri festival🔥 with little ones by playing games and other fun activities. Then, they lit the bonfire, which is key tradition of celebrating lohri.🔥🫰🏻 Followed by distributing refreshments and traditional food like moongfali, revedi, gachak and popcorns. Kids enjoyed their alot and was were happy while going back to their home.❤️🫶🏻
